Hotel Food Processing and Catering workers Union held a workshop for rank and file members and shopstewards. The workshop was a two days workshop and it was held in Salima at Maryz Lodge. The workshop was attended by 14 participants. Out of 14 participants 5 were female.
The expectations of the participants were
to know labour laws
to know what is trade union
how to handle grievances at workplaces
how to bargain with the employers
shopstewards and the toolkit
The workshop was characterized by group works. At the end of the workshop participants were grateful for the workshop and promised to be effected at their workplaces
